Scholvera Works

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 11 September 2026

Scholvera Works operates FlowTable, a WhatsApp-based virtual waitlist and pre-ordering service used by restaurants. This policy explains what personal data we handle, why, and the choices you have. When you join a restaurant's waitlist, that restaurant decides how your data is used to serve you (it is the data controller/fiduciary); Scholvera Works provides the software and processes data on the restaurant's behalf.

1. Information we collect

When you join a waitlist over WhatsApp:

If you pay an advance/deposit: payment is handled by our payment processor (Razorpay). We store only a payment status and reference — we never receive or store your card, UPI, or bank details.

Restaurant staff accounts: for people who run the dashboard we store a name, email, a securely hashed password, and (optionally) a phone number used to deliver password-reset codes.

2. How we use your information

3. Messaging & consent

You start the conversation by messaging the restaurant (typically by scanning its QR code), which establishes your consent to receive service messages about your visit. Free-form replies happen within WhatsApp's 24-hour service window; a small set of pre-approved notification templates (such as "your table is ready") may be sent outside that window. You can leave the queue or stop at any time by replying to the chat.

4. How your information is shared

We do not sell your personal data or use it for third-party advertising.

5. Data retention

Finished operational records (completed queue entries and their pre-orders, payments, sent messages, and audit entries) are automatically archived after 60 days and are no longer used for day-to-day operations. We keep data only as long as needed for the service, to meet the restaurant's reasonable record- keeping needs, and to comply with law.

6. Your rights & choices

Subject to applicable law — including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 where it applies — you may request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent.

7. Security

Each restaurant's data is isolated at the database level (row-level security), traffic is served over HTTPS, restaurant WhatsApp access tokens are encrypted at rest, and staff passwords are stored only as salted hashes. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

8. Children

The service is intended for use by adults arranging restaurant visits and is not directed at children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.

10. Contact us

Questions or requests about your data: support@flowtable.in. For data tied to a specific visit, you may also contact the restaurant you joined directly.
